Registration Policies

Registration is required for all participants of IEEE LANMAN 2018. One author for each paper must register by May 18th.

AUTHOR REGISTRATION POLICY:

At least one author of an accepted paper must register at the AUTHOR rate (IEEE ComSoc Member, IEEE Member, or Non Member rates) even if the author is a student. One registration is valid for one person. For authors presenting multiple papers, however, it can cover up to three (3) papers on which the person who is registered is an author or co-author.

The registration confirmation code you receive enables you to upload your final manuscript to the LANMAN2018 submission site. Sharing this code with anyone else is unethical and consequences apply. This LANMAN2018 submission site must be accessed using the original submitting author log-in information.

OVERLENGTH PAGE CHARGES:

Authors with over-length papers (e.g., 7th page for long papers – US$100 over-length charge) must pay for these extra pages during the registration process.

CANCELATION POLICY:

All refund/cancellation requests must be provided via email to register@comsoc.org or the online help form at https://register.comsoc.org/support and they must be received by 8 June 2018. Cancellations will incur a US$100 administrative fee. Please note that author registration is non-refundable.

PLEASE NOTE:

To be published in the 24th IEEE International Symposium on Local and Metropolitan Area Networks (LANMAN 2018) Symposium Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the AUTHOR (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 papers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the 2017 IEEE International Symposium on Local and Metropolitan Area Networks (LANMAN) Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore® as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
