Visa Letter Request

In order to request for a visa assistance letter, you have to meet at least one of the following criteria:

– Have a paper accepted for the program
– Have registered and paid in full for the conference

Travel

Washington, D.C. is served by three major airports: Dulles (IAD), Reagan (DCA), and Baltimore (BWI). Reagan (25 minutes) and Dulles (50 minutes) are preferred since they have easy public transportation options to reach the conference location. Transportation from BWI can take 90+ minutes.

Within Washington, the WMATA metro system is the most convenient way to get around. The conference venue is located one block from the Foggy Bottom GWU metro station, which is served by the Orange, Blue, and Silver lines.

Hotels

There are a variety of hotels available near George Washington University. The conference venue is one block from the Foggy Bottom GWU Metro Station (orange, blue, and silver lines). We suggest staying at a hotel near the university, or along these metro lines.

The closest hotels are One Washington Circle Hotel and Hotel Lombardy. You can use a travel site such as Kayak to find other nearby hotels depending on your budget.
